I'm on my way to completing one of my New Year's Resolutions. Finish School! The other day my dad and I finally headed down to ADLC (Alberta Distance Learning Center) and signed me up for some classes. All together I'm taking four courses; English, science, social and community health, (family issues, parenting, aging, prenatal & postnatal care, and perspective on marriage.) Right now I'm doing two at a time, which are community heath and social. I have till the end of March to finish social and the end of June to finish all the others. And so far I'm off to a good start with two booklets done. The price for the classes wasn't bad at all, $70 for as many courses as I can till June, and if I get them all done by then, I can pay another $70 if I want to upgrade for as many classes as I can for a year!
I'm looking forward to getting this done and out of my way. I'm still figuring out what I want to do for college/university, and hopefully I'll be able to rub it in all those people's faces who said I couldn't and wouldn't do it. There's nothing better than being right, which doesn't always happen often for me.
